Service 05 · Support desk

The number your staff phone instead of the person who is good with computers.

A support desk on a fixed monthly agreement — laptops, printers, email, network, accounts — so the everyday problems stop landing on whoever happens to be nearest.

StatusThe problem

In most small businesses, IT support is a staff member who is slightly better at it than everyone else, doing it instead of their actual job.

It works until it does not. The person leaves, or the problem is beyond them, or they are on leave the week the server stops. Meanwhile the real cost is invisible: hours of their week spent on other people's laptops.

We become the support desk. Staff log a ticket or phone, we fix it remotely where possible and come on site where it is not. Because we monitor the equipment, most failures get caught before someone reports them.

FAQQuestions we get asked
How is it priced?
Per user or per device, monthly, so the number is predictable and scales with your headcount rather than with how bad a month you had.
What are the response times?
Set in the agreement and tiered by severity — a whole office down is not the same as one person's printer. We agree those thresholds with you upfront.
Do we still need someone internal?
Usually no, for a business under about fifty people. Above that, we often work alongside an internal person and take the load they cannot cover.
